Guest guest
Hey, guys. My daughter has asked me to do some research and I told her I know the best place to go. Is there a pill form to take of omega 3 and 6 fats in balance? If so, I need the brand name and where to purchase it. Thanks! Guest guest
Flax oil is a great choice. You can get it in pills too, but you're talking about 9 capsules = 1 Tb. There is much more omega-3 than -6 in flax oil, but the latter is rather easy to get in your typical diet, so it's best to counter- balance this way. I like Barlean's brand. They come in black containers and ship in refrigerated trucks. They also sell blends that might more closely meet your needs than a straight flax (i.e., Omega Twin, Omega Man, Essential Woman, etc.). Check them out at www.barleans.com You can purchase them online there or elsewhere, and they are often available in the health food store. -Erin , " Dvorah L. Guest guest
Barleans is made in Ferndale, WA just outside of Bellingham. I am in Ferndale a lot. Their flax seed oil does seem to be one of the best cared for made. I went to see presentation by the author of Healing Power of Flax. He told us that Barleans had paid him to do the book. I was a little taken a back. But went out and bought some Flax oil anyway and it was quite expensive. No matter what I put it in I couldn't handle the oily taste and finally gave up on it. But many people love the taste and put it on everything, from their oatmeal in the morning to baked potatoes at night. linda " Erin " <truepatriot > Flax oil is a great choice.
