Guest guest
I always find white and pink rose petals taste the best, This is a wonderful salad. Rose Petal and Celery Root Salad 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1 teaspoon mustard seeds 1 garlic clove, finely minced 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar 2/3 cup cabbage leaves, finely shredded 1 cup baby spinach leaves 1 1/2 cups celeriac (delery root), finely grated 1 medium carrot, shredded 1 zucchini, julienned 10 snow peas, roughly chopped 1 cup bean sprouts freshly squeezed lemon juice salt and pepper 3 to 4 cups freshly picked washed rose petals Heat the oils and stir-fry the mustard seeds for about ten seconds. Add the garlic and continue frying for 30 seconds. Remove from the heat. When the oil is cold, mix with the ginger and vinegar and then add to the prepared vegetables. Season to taste and keep cool before serving splash with a good sprinkling of lemon juice and adding the rose petals as an edible decoration.
