Wiccans didn't exist until around 1940s/1950s, so they couldn't have

been drowned by Patrick.

However, in regards to the religion in that area (Druids, et cetera),

I heard there was a lot of book burning going on and whatnot. He did

drive them out, and force was assumed. I really doubt that a bunch of

people just up and peacefully left their religion because one man

showed up. It was probably like a lot of other takeovers in history.

I was an Irish polytheist myself, so I've studied a good deal about

ancient Irish religion. It didn't resemble Wicca one iota.

Beloved Pan, and all ye other gods who haunt this place, make me

beautiful within, and grant that what-ever happens outside of me will

help my soul to grow.

May I always be aware that true wealth lies in wisdom, and may my

" gold " be so abundant that only a wise man can lift and carry it away.

For me that is prayer enough. - Socrates
