LOL I am picture the produce scene.... Too funny Donna

Yes but that Cook Thesaurus got it backwards, did you notice. They said the

male had fewer seeds, but in reality they are the ones that are loaded with

them....

I don't know anything about the shallow and round. I always pick based on it

being a male with the long line instead of the round mark, because I love the

seeds. : )))

I have had the product guys laughing so hard. I think one thought I was a

pervert and was coming onto him.LOL

Judy will go over this with you also.

Turn the eggplant over. I even saw this on the net in the food haven link:

" Do you know that you can pick the sex of the eggplant by looking at it's

bottom? Here's what The Cook's Thesaurus said. I never knew that. Amusing.

Male eggplants tend to have fewer seeds, and are therefore less bitter than

female eggplants. To sex an eggplant, look at the indentation at bottom. If it's

deep and shaped like a dash, it's a female. If it's shallow and round, it's a

male. "

Re: What veggies won't you eat?

I personally can't stand asparagus (sp?). My daughter loves it (go

figure!). I'm also not fussy for eggplant. I love to eat raw turnip,

but can only tolerate the taste if it is in a stew or soup - won't eat

it mashed, even with potatoes or carrots.
