Guest guest
I don't know actually especially since the soil is so depleted of necessary minerals due to the way we raise foods these days. I don't think you can depend on the foods anymore to be really frank. But those raging migraines make me feel like banging my head against the wall and since they last three days or so I just will do whatever it is that I can to get rid of them. When I read about the magnesium back in Sept and read that people are placed into hospitals so that they can be given IV's with heavy doses of magnesium. I researched it and found it to be true and found information suggesting dosages that were safe and effective for large numbers of sufferers. What I think though is that some people are just more prone to those migraine headaches and as the article pointed out half are deficient in magnesium. Doesn't mean that more people aren't deficient, but that there are people who are sensitive enough to the deficiency to display a symptom of that depletion called migraines. I sure though it was such a harmless remedy to try that I did and it sure did work for me. I worked for a couple of my friends, one of whom spends $10 a pill for pain relief that doesn't really do the trick, but the magnesium has worked for her too. And this is after endless years of the doctors trying various things to stem them, even beta blockers. Magnesium is ever so much safer. linda " ~ PT ~ " <patchouli_troll > Great info. i sometimes get those aweful headaches. i will definitely > go get some magnesium.
