Guest guest
Hi Oh gross...you don't even want to think about following the intructions and trying it neat...spit spit...but with ice and vodka I am sure that James Bond was right...I prefer stirred not shaken! As for cooking whoopee...a concentrated fragrant herbal with a sweetness that is hard to match...the alcohol whizzes off in a second and leaves a wonderful addition that cannot be matched with white wine. As I said I only add 50 mL ( a double shot) Now to pesto...I really would like to try that...and I will. Best wishes Chris Amy <sandpiperhiker wrote: > I drink the vodka and splash the vermouth in the risotto. The > herbal flavouring is wonderful...only 50mL of course. I will have to try that at some point. I don't even know what vermouth tastes like! *lol* Last night's risotto was made with pesto. Guest guest
Chris - thanks for the heads up on not trying it neat!! It definitely sounds good in the risotto though! :-) I have also made spinach risotto by cooking and pureeing spinach and using that for the liquid. Let me know what you think of the pesto! > Oh gross...you don't even want to think about following the > intructions and trying it neat...spit spit...but with ice and vodka > I am sure that James Bond was right...I prefer stirred not shaken! > > As for cooking whoopee...a concentrated fragrant herbal with a > sweetness that is hard to match...the alcohol whizzes off in a > second and leaves a wonderful addition that cannot be matched with > white wine. > > As I said I only add 50 mL ( a double shot) > > Now to pesto...I really would like to try that...and I will.
