I have mentioned in here before about my taking magnesium and how it has

affected my migraines and how I treat a migraine by boosting the amount I take.

Well, I was at the bookstore yesterday and saw the March/April issue where it

mentioned natural ways to help with health problems. On page 21 it said that

half of migraine suffers had low magnesium levels and that taking 400 mg a day

reduced those migraines. I have been doing 500 mg a day and it has nearly

stopped them. Then when I feel one coming on I take 1500 mg, a perfectly safe

level, and the migraine recedes. But I have to keep it up for at least three

days, the length that I usually had a migraine or it will come back. Just

thought that for anyone skeptical of what I was doing, but that suffers

migraines might be interested. I cringe when I know someone has one and wish I

could prevent or take them away and that is why I offer this up.
