QOTW: Olympic fever, Random Acts & Valentine's Day.

1. What is your favorite Italian food to either cook or order

when dining out? I think I'm a bit odd, but I really don't like most

Italian food. I'm not a pasta fan, and I'm not big on oregano. I

don't hate it, but when I have a choice I would not pick it. My hubby

however loves it, so I do cook Italian like dishes for him.

 

2. What is your favorite Winter Olympic event to watch? Cross country

skiing if and when they show it. The Canadian channel has better

coverage and since I live close to the border I get pretty good

coverage. I don't have cable and rely on good old rabbit ears. (where

did that term come from?)

 

3. This is 'Random Acts of Kindness Week'. Have you thought

of ways to participate in this event? Have you ever benefited from

a random act of kindness from a complete stranger?

I'm embarrased to say I didn't know it was Random Acts of Kindness

Week, so I've not thought of ways to participate yet. On a daily basis

I try and make an effort to be polite, I feel like that is really

lacking these days. I like to hold doors open for people, and chat

with people I come across in my day. Not major things I realize, but

I know I sure appricate it when it happens to me. One of the funner

times I benefited from an act was driving across the Golden Gate

Bridge, the car in front of me paid for the next 10 drivers. I drove

past the benefactor and waved, it was a really nice surprise, so I

did it the next time I drove through.

4. Do you celebrate St. Valentine's Day in any special manner?

[cards, dinner out or in, gifts, flowers, romance?]

Usally a mellow evening with my sweet hubby, tonight we are seeing

Casanova at the local movie house.
