Guest guest
Last week or so, on CNBC, I believe, they were discussing the dropping stock of Starbucks. The company explanation is that the new iced and shake-like drinks were too popular, esp. with the heat-wave that was then sweeping the nation. They said they take much longer to prepare and the lines were getting long enough to discourage people from entering. Interesting theory. They didn't say it, but maybe the profit on the frappes, etc., is not as large as for simple straight-up coffees. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > Does anyone like Starbuck cofee? Most everyone I know can't stand how strong they make it. Lots of them have closed up and I heard on the news that their stock is way down. > Judy
