Guest guest
Dear Donna, It was an adventure I dearly wanted to share. I need to be patient for next visit, school has started, the hols was too quick This amazing group made it possible for Christie & others to help me, that's for sure. I always look to see who I can help here but Christie, yourself & others often posts questions that are beyond me I am learning more each day and this amazing group is my teacher I read and learn more each passing day When I am not posting, I am absorbing plenty of good information I will shout you when the paprika is here, no worries <wink> Then, we can talk some more about using other substitutes, like pinto beans. I can get dry pinto beans and dry red kidney beans which need to be soak overnight. I can also get dry gunga peas in the Indian shops here. The Mangoes are so tempting and I often ended up with a couple of cases home Can I mix the flesh with yogurt and freeze them for Mango ice-cream? Big Hugs your way, Wee On Behalf Of Donnalilacflower Wednesday, August 30, 2006 1:57 AM RE: Black Beans with Paprika Wee my friend Hi Wee, This is a lovely post and I thank you for sharing with us. I Know you can't wait for your next visit there. You have a lot of new far off friends in here and we look forward to your friends recipes. It's nice knowing you and Christie have much to talking about and share help in finding food items over there in the UK Let me know when your paprika arrives and I will help you, now if you can't cook black beans from scratch or even find canned ones, we can work on some pinto beans, do you have those??? Smiles, Donna
