Guest guest
Vegetable Dim Sims I always have these in the freezer. I freeze them on a cookie sheet then put 12 into a bag. and Label and date. The recipe can be double or tripled. 1 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce 1 tsp. grated ginger 1 carrot, grated 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage 2 green onions, chopped 1/2 cup chopped beansprouts 1/2 cup grated reduced fat cheddar cheese 8 3/4 oz. packages wonton wrappers 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce, extra for serving 1 tsp. cornstarch Combine soy sauce, cornstarch and ginger together and mix in carrot, cabbage, onion, beansprouts and cheese. Place a tablespoon of mixture into the center of each wonton wrapper, brush edges with water, bring all corners in together and twist. Repeat with remaining mixture. Place dim sims in a shallow pan with enough boiling water to cover and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes or until tender. Drain and serve with extra soy sauce. Makes 4 servings.
