Guest guest Posted August 6, 2006 Report Share Posted August 6, 2006 We put up some pickles a couple weeks ago, and I stuck some jalapenos in there. OH my are they hot!!! I love jalapenos in the raw in a wrap, but combined with the pickling spice they knock your socks off! I was literally crying. Had to follow up with cheese and crackers to cut the spicy. But they were good and I kept eating them (no teaching some people, huh?) I have to try that zucchini tomato tart soon. I don't think DH put in any zucchini in our garden, but my bookkeeper will have some soon, and my in-law's neighbors too. I made an awesome eggplant parmesan the other night (I think I posted about that) and I'm having the leftovers for breakfast in the morning.
