Hi Jenni, sounds like you are spot on.

 

*Crystalline Fructose*: Crystalline fructose is produced through a complex

series of steps, starting with the monosaccharide dextrose, which is derived

originally from corn (dextrose is chemically identical to fructose but

" inverted " in structure). The end product, crystalline fructose, is a sweet

tasting solid that has the same properties as liquid fructose (see

" fructose " ).
