Guest guest
Diabetic and/or Athletic? Thanks to P.T., I am posting this notice here now: In the last couple of weeks we have started TWO (count em - 2!) NEW GROUPS - to address two very different interests/needs for vegans and vegetarians, as a result of inquiries and requests by members of some of my groups. Both are small and likely to remain so, and do not intend to replace or compete with any lists to which we all now belong. 1, The first 1st is DIABETIC VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN CHAT - " . . . a brand-new group which has been especially created for vegans and vegetarians diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes to chat about strategies for their new lifestyle and to lend each other support. The group is also for those who are caring for veg*n diabetics and those who feel (whether because of weight issues, genetic predisposition or other) they may be at risk for diabetes. " Diabetics and pre-diabetics who are new to vegetarianism or veganism or who are still making the transition to a vegetarian or vegan diet are also most welcome. " You can find us at: diabeticvegchat/ 2. The second (and newest) is ATHLETIC VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS - " . . . a new group which addresses the special needs of all athletic, fitness-minded and sports-minded vegans and vegetarians, regardless of activity, ability or age. If you are athletic and vegan/vegetarian or would like to become so, then this is the place for you to ask, discuss, share, chat, learn. For athletes especially serious exercisers in need of good but plentiful calories without the fat and sugar in so many " athletic " meals. AND of course vegetarian. " You can find us at: athleticveg/ (NOTE: The host of this group is Marty (reaganmarty). I am simply the facilitator on this group in the short term. ALL WELCOME! Many thanks to you all.
