Foolproof Pie Crust

I made this for a rhubarb pie. I did not measure the filling

ingredients so can't give measurements.

 

Fool Proof Flaky Pie Crust

 

1 1/4 cup w.w. flour

2 Tbsp. Organic sugar

1/4 tsp. salt

8 Tbsp. butter or ghee

2 ounces cool cream cheese

 

 

Beat cream cheese and butter/ ghee together =until creamy. Mix dry

ingredients separately then mix together until it resembles coarse

cornmeal. MOil pie pan and put dough in bottom. You may have to add

a tiny amount of water or milk a teaspoon at a time. Spread out with

your fingers and fists on the bottom and up the sides. Flute the

edges with fingers. Bake at 325F in preheated oven on middle rack.

Prick bottom of crust with fork so it will not bubble up. Bake 35-

40 min. until golden brown.
