Guest guest Posted August 20, 2006 Report Share Posted August 20, 2006 I just got my smoked paprika last week. YUM! To me, it smells exactly like barbeque potato chips! Just now as I was reading Hip's email saying he's looking for smoked paprika (I got mine mail order from Penzey's) and I have Iron Chef America on TV as I read email, Alton Brown just noted that the chef was using smoked paprika and then he described how the peppers are first smoked, then dried and ground.
