Guest guest
I have wanted to try this and haven't done it yet. This is in a little used vegan cookbook and it has a recipe for " carmella " as a natural sweetner. Here's the recipe. " Carmella Natural Sweetener " 1 cup pitted dates 1 cup water Soak dates in water for 3 hours. Then blend dates and water well in the blender or food processor. Refrigerate and use as a natural sweetener in place of sugar or honey. --- christie_0131 <christie0131 wrote: > Sadly it's not available in the UK.
