Dog takes care of injured pal

It was the canine version of " Band of Brothers " .

 

The owner of a convenience shop in Shenyang of

northeast China's Liaoning Province saw two dogs lying

at the entrance of the residential complex where his

store was located on Tuesday night but found the pair

of canines rest in front of his store.

 

The two dogs, one white and the other yellow, were

inseparable after the yellow one broke its left rear

leg. The residents saw the white dog sit beside its

pal and even pushed the injured dog with its nose and

paws to a cooler place when the sun shone on them.

 

They ate and drank food and water donated by passing

residents. But if someone got too close to the injured

canine to examine it, the white fido would threaten

him with ferocious barks.

 

The shop owner said the pair must be someone's dogs

because their fur was quite clean and hoped their

owners could come and take them home soon.

Stolen dog smells its way back to owner

A pet dog in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, smelled its

way back to its owner on Tuesday, one month after it

was stolen and sold.

 

The owner Huang said she purchased the pure breed in

Beijing for 5,000 yuan ($658), three years ago. She

cherished it and carried it around every day, even

when she was on business. But a month ago, thieves

broke into Huang's home and carted away the dog as

also some jewels.

 

On Tuesday, the dog ran up to Huang near a railway

station, with a woman in hot pursuit. She claimed to

be the dog's owner, but when questioned by police,

admitted that she knew the dog was stolen and that she

had bought it at a low price recently.

Dog waits for owner for 5 days

A little pet dog waited patiently for five days for

its owner at a small clinic in Shenyang, Liaoning

Province.

 

Last Thursday, the dog followed its owner who was

carrying an old patient of cerebral hemorrhage on his

tricycle to the clinic, where he had to leave his dog

and tricycle and rush the patient to another hospital

for emergency treatment by taxi. " The dog guarded the

tricycle and waited for its owner to return, even

through rainy days, " said witnesses. Touched by its

loyalty, many people fed it till its owner came and

got the pet.
