Guest guest
Stop Port Construction: Save Olive Ridley Sea Turtles in India Arribadas -- the term used for one of nature’s incredible spectacles, the mass nesting of Olive Ridley sea turtles, sometimes in the hundreds and thousands on a given beach -- occur in only three locations worldwide. The Arribada on the coast of the Orissa state in India, one of the largest occurrences, is currently under threat due to the construction of a deep-water industrial port. Click this link to send a letter today asking the Orissa state government and ATA Steel to halt construction of this port: http://www.seaturtles.org/actionalertdetails.cfm?actionAlertID=134 For more information on this issue visit: http://www.globalresponse.org/gra.php?i=current Thank you for supporting the sea turtles!
