Guest guest
http://www.deccanherald.com/Content/Nov282007/state2007112838233.asp A 40-year-old tusker, which suffered an injury two months ago, is battling for life in the N Begur forest range here as the forest department staff has not come forward to treat the pachyderm, DHNS reports from H D Kote. The tusker is without water or food in the thick forest and has become weak. It is writhing in pain and puss and blood are oozing out of the wound. It is suspected the elephant, with huge tusks, might have been injured during a fight with another elephant or hit by a bullet. The forest department staff have not even cared to visit the spot. Will the forest officials at least now swing into action? <https://www.online.citibank.co.in/portal/Landingmaster.jsp?TID=t2 & PID=reghm & CID\ =t2a1p7c1 & LMS=RCA$RCAO$DDB$DEHRM180$DEHRM180$DECCANHERALD> -- WOCON: http://groups.google.co.inwocon
