Guest guest Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 Guwahati, Wednesday, December 19, 2007: A man who extended his arms in the tiger enclosure at the Assam State Zoo in the city to get an extreme close up shot on his camera, was severely mauled by Gobardhan the male tiger. The right arm of Joyprakash Borthakur aged 50yrs was plugged out from his body. As the man tried to break free he used his other arm which was grabbed by the female tigress Divya. The man who was brought to the medical college hospital died later during the day. The man who was from Jorhat town of Assam had gone with his wife and son to vist the zoo.
