Drinking moonshine whiskey saturated with a dead cobra's venom is, I hear, how certain elements fortify themselves before secretly playing elephant polo in the Bangalore back alleys. Their belief is that the concoction makes them invisible. This custom may be, in fact, why their games are so seldom seen, & why even DNA tracing fails to establish any trace of their descendants. -------------------- One would labor long & probably fruitlessly to find a human population within which at least a few people did not, from time to time, demonstrate the mechanisms of selective evolution for higher intelligence. -- Merritt Clifton Editor, ANIMAL PEOPLE P.O. Guest guest
Was this an excerpt documented from one of the dumb drunk men at that party? I did not read this in the newspaper though. May be i missed it! Interesting! If we did know who said this in his drunken stupor, we could actually meet him and help him evolve out his coccoon to be just a lil more intelligent...more imp...sane.
