Miraculously he survived to tell his tale. He's reportedly mentally unstable. The man was badly injured and is being treated at a government hospital in Patna. He's around 30 and mentally unwell. The zoo security guards had to use water cannon to shoo away the tiger, before dragging the man out. There were a lot of people and there aren't enough barricades. There is also a wall, a water body canal, so that the animal does not cross. It's a brick wall that is chest high, and then you have a 5-10 feet canal which is public demarcated by the water body. The man is seriously injured and has been admitted in a government hospital in Patna, but no family members have come to ask for him yet.
