This year alone there have been nine leopard attacks on people. But the latest leopard attack has brought to light a very moving story of Draupada, a mother who fought a leopard bare-handed to save her little daughter. *NDTV:* Where and how did you come face to face with the leopard? *Draupada* I had taken my daughter out when the leopard came from behind and attacked her. I saw there was no one to help so I screamed, jumped on the leopard trying to grab its neck. It let go of my daughter and fled. *NDTV:* Weren't you scared that the leopard could have attacked you too? *Draupada* I was scared but then I was worried for my daughter's safety and out of that fear I did what came to my mind. I am glad she is safe. -- United against elephant polo http://www.freewebs.com/elephantpolo
