Guest guest Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 Sir, Informing you all that stray dogs were captured in Muvattupuzha Municipality in brutal fashion and thereafter killed by injecting poison into the heart. This is a total violation of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act which prohibits cruelty being inflicted on animals, including stray dogs, and more specifically prohibits their killing by injecting poison in the heart. Our Secretary Mr.Ramesh Kumar went to the spot and when he was explaining the legal points and about ABC Programme, suddenly a mob surrounded him and hit him on the back of the head and kicked him. We have already entered into MOU with Municipality and the ABC programme has already started. Please forward your complaints to the DYSP OF POLICE,Muvattupuzha and the Municipal Secreatry against this cruelty.
