Dear AfA Friends,

I can't believe it's time to start taking reservations for Animals for Asia

2008! This year AfA 2008 will be held in Bali, Indonesia and hosted by

Yudisthira - Bali Street Dog Foundation. With great excitement we are

building a schedule of dynamic speakers, workshops and demonstrations!

The year's theme focus is:

LESSONS LEARNED: Let's Teach Each Other!

This is not about what you do, but what has been learned from what you do!

Along with the usual Asia animal welfare topics line-up - Animals in

Research, Zoo Check, Stray Animal Management, Rescue Centre Operations,

Farm Animal Welfare, The Role of Government Agencies in Animal Protection,

Tackling the Wildlife Trade, Companion Animals, Media & Communication

Strategies for NGOs - we have some exciting things planned that have not

been done before at AfA

SNEAK PREVIEW:

Professional Team Building workshop that requires your participation - The

same techniques that are used by fortune 500 companies for team building

have been applied to animal welfare and has successfully been implemented in

Asia!

Live KEY HOLE spay neuter live demonstration - An operating theater will be

setup on stage and broadcast live on big screen TV's.

Spay Neuter Field Clinic - See how Yudisthira runs a 'same day release' spay

clinic in the villages as they share lessons learned!

Vegan Workshop - Focuses on developing a successful grass roots Vegan

Campaign. (Any suggestions for speakers please forward immediately!)

Conflict Resolution and Animal Welfare

Wild Life Trade and Enforcement

Education - Hands on workshop

Many more topics

And of course, share and tell...your lessons learned!
