GEN SECRETARY: The last month has seen a spate of articles being published about PAWS Thane activities happening under my supervision. It resulted in a lot of flak wherein many criticized me alleging that I am seeking only publicity. There are a few who wrote to me stating the same and expressing their displeasure. But folks, let me put my point forward.... I would like to tell you that the articles published since December are based on instances / incidents where there was blatant animal cruelty. To put the record straight, neither my personal profile nor PAWS needs publicity. What we require is an awareness regarding animal issues and the sensitivity to handle them. If these issues were being addressed in all the articles, I am happy about them. I firmly believe that criticism is easy but creation is difficult. We welcome your criticism but with suggestions & a helping hand to improve it. For all the respected critics, try accompanying our ambulance for a day. I am sure that you will forget criticizing. For Animals, Nilesh Bhanage __________ 2.
