Guest guest
http://www.japanupdate.com/?id=8357 Please read this article (above). This is HORRIBLE news. My WORST fears materialized. I've alerted Ric O'Barry (savejapandolphins.com). I'm no longer in Oki, and feel helpless - except that I can try to spread the word, and motivate others to ACT quickly to this news - and try to END FURTHER HUNTS with a barrage of bad press and threats of boycotts to Okinawa's fledgling eco/green tourism programs. I noted this other article: http://www.japanupdate.com/?id=8369 Perhaps the cruise line will forego this stop in the future pending an END to all dolphin hunts in Okinawa. Again, this is the worst news possible for Okinawa -- where dolphins had been swimming somewhat safely for 2 decades. If you can help spread the word -- PLEASE DO. http://www.ocvb.or.jp/index.php Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau 1831-1 Oroku, Naha City, Okinawa 901-0152 JAPAN ( Okinawa Industrial Support Center 2F) Telephone: +81-98-859-6123 (Daytime English) +81-98-859-6221 --------- ~Kim voices4animals
