In another mindless attempt to put a blinker over the eyes of the people the

health official in Kashmir and the Mayor are ruthlessly killing the street

dogs there.

 

1) not only are they using the banned method and chemical.

2) they are doing this whole exercise to hide their shortcomings. There are

not enough Anti rabies medicines for humans in govt hospitals. They have

been sold off illegally for money. So the blame has to be shifted to dogs

and also a distraction for public.

3) there is more money in buying this poison in mass scale.

4) by killing dogs the rabies threat increases and so does population is a

well known scientific fact . The dog free vacuum that will be created in an

area where dogs would be poisoned will immediately be filled by new dogs

from other areas and those dogs will be new and may be carriers of Rabies or

more hostile. So dog bites may increase and so can rabies. BUt the

population will never come down and the killing exercise would be like going

round in circles.

Bangalore was a good example where it was proved that after the mindless

killings for a few months alone increase population of dogs by manifold. This

is because while killing is going on the Animal Birth Control Program and

Immunisation is off, hence population continue to increase at an alarming

rate, as nature automates the process of reproduction if any species is

under treat. It is because the " carrying capacity " of the environment

increase and the 'natural mortality rate' decreases. So population remains

same or increases.

 

These scientific facts are not only ignored but the law is also taken into

hands because of petty money.

Pakistan is more humane towards its animals, despite begin an Islamic

country.

 

MAY WE ASK ANIMAL WELFARE BOARD OF INDIA TO LET US KNOW AS TO HOW ONE MAY

INTERVENE AND SUPPORT AWBI TO HELP STOP THESE OUTLAWED ACTIONS ? PLEASE ALSO

LET US KNOW AS TO WHAT ACTION DOES A.W.B.I. INTEND TO TAKE AGAINST THESE

OFFENDERS IMMEDIATELY SO MORE LIVES ARE NOT LOST. ANY REPLY FROM AWBI SHALL

BE CIRCULATED BETWEEN THE RECIEPIENTS OF THIS EMAIL TO KEEP EVERYONE
