(TH): Urgent, animal-loving person in Bangkok sought

Dear all,

 

This is a forwarded mail which I received from Cornwall's Voice for

Animals. It is an SOS for the homeless dog, Danny of Bangkok city. The

pictures are sad. I have forwarded this mail to a few organisations and

individuals working with animals in Thailand.

As pictures cannot be posted on AAPN, I request all those who would like to

see the original mail with photo attachments to write to me.

Liebe Tierfreunde,

 

im Moment versuchen wir einem Hund ( Dany ) aus Bangkok zu helfen.

 

Dany lebt auf der Strasse im Klong San Bereich , am Chao Phraya Fluss in

Bangkok.

 

Das Foto hat ein Student ( Dan )aus Bangkok aufgenommen.

 

Ich stehe mit ihm in gutem Kontakt und er will auch helfen, so gut es geht.

 

Leider hat Dan der Fotograf, überhaupt keine Ahnung von Tieren und er hat

auch keine Möglichkeit den Hund mitzunehmen. Gerade im Moment hat er mir via

Mail versprochen gleich zu " Dany " zu fahren , nach ihr zu schauen und ihr

Futter zu bringen in der Hoffnung, dass sie durchhält bis ich eine Lösung zu

ihrer Rettung gefunden habe.

 

Es gibt in Bangkok ein Dog Rescue Center die ich schon angeschrieben habe.

Leider habe ich bis jetzt noch keine Antwort erhalten.

 

*Vielleicht kann jemand aus Bangkok helfen, der etwas Ahnung von Tieren hat?

Man müsste dann z.b persönlich in das Dog Rescue Center nach Bangkok und um

schnelle Hilfe bitten.

 

*Wir würden dann auch Paten für Dany suchen, damit dem Dog Rescue in

Bangkok keine Unkosten entstehen.*

 

Eine andere Möglichkeit wäre, dass ein Tierfreund in Bangkok Dany einfängt

und sie nach Samui zur medizinischen Behandlung ins örtliche Dog Rescue nach

Samui bringt.

 

*Falls also jemand im Moment in Bangkok ist, bittet meldet Euch bei mir. Dan

( der Fotograf) aus Bangkok wird Euch den Weg genau erklären, wo ihr Dany

findet.*

Dear animal friends,

 

at the moment we are trying to help a dog in Bangkok (Dany).

 

He lives in the street in the Klong San area, the Chao Phraya river in

Bangkok.

 

The picture was taken by a student in Bangkok (Dan).

 

I have been in contact with him and he is trying to help as much as

possible. Dan the photographer has no idea how to deal with animals, and he

has no way of taking the dog with him. But he has promised via mail to go

back to Dany immediately, to check up on her and bring her food with the

hopes, that she will make it until we have found a solution to save her.

 

There is a dog rescue center in Bangkok, which I have mailed to but not

received an answer yet.

 

Maybe someone from Bangkok will be able to help, someone who has experience

with animals?

 

Possibly this person would have to go to the Bangkok rescue center

personally to ask for help.

 

We will get a sponsor for Dany so the rescue center will not have any costs

with him.

 

Another possibilty would be for an animal lover in Bangkok to collect the

dog and brings or ships her to the rescue center in Koh Samui for medical

attention.

 

If anyone happens to be in Bangkok at this moment, please write to me. Dan

will explain to you exactly how to find Dany.

Dany and her friend have been cought and are in safety.

 

Mrs. Paporn from www.khlongdogs.com was able to catch her along with

Dan Depew ther photographer.

 

Many many thanks for the fabulous work , in spite of streaming rain in

Bangkok. (we will receive photos of Dany later).

 

And now how do we continue?

 

As mentioned before Dany will now go along with her friend to the

animalhospital in Bangkok. The hospital will check them up and give

them medical attention until they are ready to be transported to

Brigitte www.samuidog.org at the rescue center in Koh Samui. All three

dogs will be able to stay there in the future.

 

Brigitte will take photos of before and after. Many many thanks to

Brigitee, who was willing without hesitation to take the dogs, even

though she is herself looking for sponsorship for over 150 dogs and

100 cats. If anyone would like to write to Brigitte (she speaks both

German and English), do so, but remember that she hardly has time to

answer with all her animals. With concrete questions regarding Dany

and co. please write to me.

 

When Mrs. Poborn called me yesterday in regards to Dany, she told me

with tears in her eyes about the puppies " White, Heart and Hpe, which

were dumped yesterday like garbage by a truck. Unfortunately she was

not able to save the other dogs. I will send you the complete story if

you ask me for it. Also Mrs. Poporn speaks German and English.

 

Stefanie and myself have decided spontanously to pay for the flights

for the 3 puppies. The photos will be put on the homepage of Stefanie,

www.tierhilfe-assisi.de of White and co.

 

Costs

 

3 of the dogs need medical attention in Bangkok

 

the helpers, the transporter and the animal doctors in Bangkok have to

get paid

 

3 of the dogs need a flight from Bangkok to Samui

 

3 dogs need sponsorship

 

the dogs will receive medical attention, food etc. from Brigitte

www.samuidog.org in the future

 

2 puppies are still in Bangkok, Heart and Jope

If things get rough, Stefanie and myself will pay out of our owns

husbands will want a divorce!
