Anyone can join this programme from Mumbai, Thane & Raigad Districts. 1. Details of Program Name of the Program : Rescue & First Aid Day, Date : Saturday, 22.03.2008 (National Holiday) Timings : 4.30pm to 6.30pm Venue : Terrace of Balaji Apartment, Pakhadi, Khregoan, Kalwa (West), Thane. Schedule of the Program 4.30 to 5.00pm : Guest Introduction & Volunteer Registration, Notes distribution 5.00 to 5.30pm : Rescue & First Aid for Strays by Dr. Guruprasad Mahadik 5.30 to 6.00pm : Rescue of Orphan birds/small mammals by Mr. Hemkant Gupte 6.00 to 6.30pm : Question/Answer Round & Certificate Distribution. 3. About Speakers ## Dr. Guruprasad Mahadik is vet by profession, working with IDA, having experience in delivering lectures on First Aid in past with WSD. Currently he helps PAWS volunteers for treating animals in evening time. ## Mr. Hemkant Gupte is Trustee of Haryali Trust and involved in Nature conservation, wild bird rescues & rehabilitation. His vast experience in Ornithology helping lots of nature lovers in Thane to gain much required knowledge. He active in Hariyali Trust which in involved in Environment Education, Tree Plantation etc. (In past Hariyli helped us in conducting Snake Rescue & Rehabilitation Training which was conducted by Dr. Gowri Mallapur @ Hariyali office) Please let us know in advance by calling on 9820161114 or replying this mail so that we can print the course material.
