Dear All,

The Pune Municipal Corporation is under tremendous pressure to show up

if the ABC really works.

 

They have threfore decided to conduct a trial to research on the

effectiveness of ABC programme. They have approached us to do the needful.

 

We are a relatively small group with no real resources or experience

in handling such a project, moroever a mistake from our end can create

a wrong example.

 

The corporation is ready to spend a reasonable sum on the pilot

project and pay the agency for the efforts. We desperately need help

and some organization that can take up this project in our city.

 

This is a good opportunity to prove ABC's effectivness. Please email

Dear Manoj,

 

That a properly and aggressive ABC programme works is beyond doubt.

 

Everyone civic-minded person in Pune must put his/her effort to help the

only organisation there

doing this much needed work. I am referring to the Blue Cross Society of

Pune where

Mrs. Sunanda Das and her husband Mr. Shubir Das have been doing their best.

There has been

support only from a handful of others. The Pune municipality, whose job it

is to pay for the

project have not done so. Delayed grants from the AWBI due to late releases

from the Ministry

have not helped, either.

 

Please, let us all get together and help them since they already have the

infrastructure in

place. We cannot afford to let the back-breaking work done so far be wasted.
