Guest guest
Yes. I need help in legal issue. I start to live in Indonesia since the end of 2003 and I wonder if there is any law regarding the animal rights here. I feel that people here see animal as thing and could be thrown or even kill, and now I experiencing it myself. During these years I saw some people having wildlife at home, they caged/tight the animals in 24 hours, I know Indonesia has law about this, but no one action. Another case is I caring stray dogs and cats in my community. I feed, care and spayed them in my own expenses. But some people in community start to terrorize me. They even tried to kill the strays. FYI, I paid additional money to the cleaning service in area in order to keep the community clean. Now I tried to keep all strays in my house. the dogs are fine but it is difficult to keep stray cats always at home. I ever go to the police to report the case but the police suggest just to throw the strays to another area, which will make the problem worse, of course I didn't do that. and there is also some people in my community who having monkey in small cages, dog in small cages.....etc but no action from the local government. I wonder if there is any law of animal rights here, I wish I can help more, so I wish can discuss this case with you. BR Christine
