hi!

As I want to bring certain animal-abuse in Thailand under the

attention of a bigger public, and especially the tourists, I publish

here some photos I made the last half year in Bangkok. I am updating

frequently. They are published in my public album in Flickr:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/toni_uni/collections/72157603251250356/

This link has various sets of animal-abuse like the begging elephants

in the city, a " zoo " in Bangkok which cannot be named like that and

stray dogs.

Every bit of publicity helps I think.

I release the photos for publication (with mentioning the source),

and, if necessary I am willing to provide the original high-resolution

ones.

Thank you very much for presenting such a huge material on the animal abuse

issue. Yes, you are absolutely right - publicity is the way! Applause to

those animal friends who don't use all funds for direct animal needs, but

some amount for " PR " , too. Only if more engage, there will be an end to the

problem (or we'll come closer to it..).

May I ask; what happened to the missing-eye dog on its way to loose sight

also on the other - do you know..? I think the animal protection community

should prioritize strays with severe eye problems - they have an even

harder life... (There is no such cruel handicap - may I say - like

blindness.) Is there any animal protection group working nearby where the

photos were taken?

I will revisit the site where your photos are published, because I didn't

know it was this severe in Thailand...
