Dyed fur leads woman to dog butcher's door

 

A man surnamed Zhang recently had to pay 1,500 yuan ($214) in compensation after

killing and cooking what he thought was a stray dog in Zhengzhou, capital of

Henan province.

 

Zhang, who likes to eat dogs and cats, spotted the canine in question on a

street several day ago. He caught the dog, took it home and then killed it.

Zhang then hung the dog's skin from a fence over a bridge so that he could dry

and sell it.

 

Upon seeing the skin, the dog's owner tracked down Zhang and demanded that he

pay her for killing her pet.

 

The woman, surnamed Liu, said her pet, Bin Bin, had lost its way when she

brought it along for a shopping trip. She recognized her pet's skin because she

had dyed its fur.
