*PICTURES OF LONDON PROTEST OUTSIDE INDIAN EMBASSY & OTHER PROGESS IN THE

CAMPAIGN TO PROTEST AGAINST KERALA DOG KILLINGS.*

Dear friends,

These are some pictures of the demonstration which was held outside the

Indian Embassy in London against the DOGS KILLINGS in KERALA. The demo was

organised by Ms. Carol Brignull and others.

The pictures can be downloaded from the link :

http://picasaweb.google.com/rishidev000/LONDONDEMO

There are also some video clips which could not be uploaded on the net due

to size problem.

*There were about 20 + people who had turned up for the protest. Among them

were -*

1*) Elaine Toland, Director of APA (Animal Protection Agency)

based in Brighton, England.*

*2) Alan Knight (International Animal Rescue) and two assistants

were there.*

*3) Bill Bailey, comedian, from " Never Mind The Buzzcocks',

T.V. programme, came with his two rescued dogs from Indonesia.*

*4) Meridian T.V were there.*

*5) Carla Laine (celebrity, writer of TV sit coms and animal rights

activist, who also runs a sanctuary) had said she would come to the demo but

could not due to some coordination problem.*

**

Alan Knight handed in a letter outlining the problems in Kerala and he, his

assistant and Carol Brignull were asked in to the High Commission where they

told *Apurba De, Second Secretary*, about the dreadful plight of animals in

Kerala. They reported to him exactly what is happening in Kerala and

hopefully there will be some action.

All these people feel passionate about the animals in Kerala - this was not

a one-off! People who promised to come, will be in touch with Carol and

another demo or demos on a regular basis will occur until hopefullly

progress will be made!

______________

In addition they will be supporting us in BOYCOTT KERALA TOURISM CAMPAIGN IN

MANY WAYS.

THE PETITION AT THE LINK GIVEN BELOW IS ALSO DOING GOOD.

PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS PEOPLE HAVE POSTED ON THIS SITE. IN ADDITION WE

ALSOHAVE AROUND 7500 HARD COPIES OF SIGNATURES TO SUPPORT PETITION TO

BOYCOTT KERALA COMPLETELY.

______________

*W.S.P.A* has also assured us to support in this campaign to boycott Kerala

at a mass level. Ms. Dawn Peacock, Senior Society Manager had come to meet

us from Bangkok regarding this issue and has promised to support us in all

possible ways. We are really greatful to her.

______________

The matter is also being reported to *United Nations *and *W.H.O.* who funds

for Anti Rabies Vaccines to India.

______________

*THE KERALA DOG KILLING ISSUE IS NOW BIG NEWS ALL OVER THE WORLD AND THE

WORD IS TRAVELLING AROUND FAST. **The C.M. can not deny it further. *

*Mrs. Jaya Jaitly, Mr George Fernandes & Swami Agniveshji ,*the well known

leaders of India are also persuing it with the C.M. of Kerala, esp after his

outright denial of the whole thing.

In some time to come all these efforts will mount up to start a big movement

against KERALA's AUTOCRATIC rule and cruelty on animals which has been going

for years now !!!

Please let us all come together and stop this barbarism by showing our power

of unity.

Thanks

Rishi Dev
