Guest guest
Having been elected Corporator, Imran Khedawala should do something more than just whine. The AMC has been most pro-active in having an ABC programme launched in Ahmedabad many years ago with the help of Animal Help Foundation. The three founders pumped in millions of their personal money for the sake of their city. The Corporation Commissioner, Capt. Mahajan, gave them all help. And the short-sighted councillors stopped the only programme which would have given them results. Catching dogs and dumping them in forests will not solve the issue. Only a scrupulous adherence to the Dog Control (ABC)Rules can do this. Not only is the AMC breaking the law, the elected law-breakers are doing a great disservice to the people of Ahmedabad. S.
