The accused have been identified as Shivaji Ishwar Hosurkar and Baliram Nagappa Kumbar of Ganebail, Vijay Gangaram Patil of Kuppatgiri and Arun Yashwant Gadakari of Pimpale. According to the police, the accused had brought the pelts from Castle Rock forest area. A case has been registered at Belgaum rural police station under Wild Life Protection Act.
