Dr Beth McGennisken has done a really great job managing the program but is now ready to hand on the reins. VBB would like her replacement to have previous experience volunteering with VBB previously, ideally with the SARAH Program. However, applications from other VBB volunteers will also be considered. The position will commence in mid-July and finish at the end of March 2010. Please see the attached description of the SARAH Program, as well as the description of the Project Manager position and relevant terms. It will be a great opportunity to get involved in all aspects of an animal health and welfare project, working closely with members of this Indian Himalayan community. The SARAH Program has recently been incorporated into the Sikkim Government's Department of Animal Husbandry, Livestock, Fisheries, and Veterinary Services as its own Division, ensuring sustainability of the project. Please email applications, or any queries, to secretariat before the application deadline of 21st June 2009.
