Don't be surprised.

It has nothing to do with the dexterity or speed of the surgeries from the

part of the Indian surgeons. There are a large number of expert Indian

surgeons here-some of them have done surgeries in thousands, ask Chinni

Krishna of Blue Cross.

Even our Idukki SPCA in Kerala has done a couple of thousand surgeries in

Idukki District

Ask Avis Lyons of Thiruvananthapuram .She has been doing the fast spaying

for the past few years and her surgeons never complained about it as being

such a time consuming " operation "

..

In fact Ms.Avis herself is partly responsible for this weird press release

from the part of the Kerala Animal Husbandry Department and the City

Corporation Thiruvananthapuram. She has been a pain in the neck for these

corporation and husbandry people of Thiruvananthapuram, always protesting

and even physically obstructing when they catch and kill strays in the name

of ABC.She has filed so many complaints and cases against these officials

and has put them in a really tight spot.

In one of the cases she has filed which is now being heard in the Hon.High

court of Kerala these people are so scared that they at first made a

'Gandhian' to issue a notice for killing strays. Then they somehow obtained

an order from the Ombudsman to kill the strays-- which was to be revoked as

per the recent Supreme Court orderon the subject.

When this ploy also failed these people have come up with new theories and

'surgical inventions'.

Mr.Merritt there is no merit in the argument of these people and there are a

number of excellent surgeons in Kerala and India and the AWBI has already

asked and invited doctors from Kerala to undergo training in such

surgeries. None from these complaining group of 'viagral surgeons' has

enrolled for that.
