Guest guest
These two short TV spots produced for the Philippine Animal Welfare Society, one for homeless cats and one for homeless dogs, are absolutely perfect - not overly depressing and respectful of the animals. Kim Bartlett " The following are two TV pet commercials that are quite different from what we are used to seeing. You will see no fluffy and well-groomed cat or dog in these clips. All you'll see are a couple scenes that play out countless of times per day out there in the streets. It's a very familiar sight but not many see them. I'm hoping that after watching the clips on TV, viewers will start seeing and feeling more for our homeless street animals. There is heartache happening in the streets as you read this. " Cat version URL: Dog Version URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VexUzglGJ-U & feature=channel_page For the first time on Philippine television, we have put out an ad calling the public's attention to the plight of homeless animals. The numbers the public will call or text will direct them to ADOPT FROM or DONATE TO PAWS. PAWS will, of course, provide callers with information on spay-neuter. Then, possibly, follow up with ads on more complex animal welfare issues. Right now, we are getting more calls about adoption and spay-neuter inquiries. We hope this translates to more local donations as well. The beauty here is that PAWS did not spend a single centavo for these ads. We also have " HOMELESS, NOT WORTHLESS " posters and wall stickers on the highways and on the posts of Metro & Light Rail Transit in Quezon City because we have links with the QC Mayor (Sonny Belmonte) and we will be doing Humane Education for all the 149 barangays /villages or communities within Quezon City). Please feel free to disseminate the links to the YOU TUBE Videos.
