Campaigns Officer

 

 

 

ACRES is seeking to recruit a full-time Campaigns Officer to develop and

manage its various animal protection campaigns, including regional

ZooCheck campaigns.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective

communication strategies, developing effective relationships with key

stakeholders and meeting with them, engaging and supporting campaign

partners to communicate campaign messages and ensuring various

components of campaigns are completed on time.

 

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with

excellent project skills, able to work both independently and as part of

a team.

 

 

 

Previous experience in the field of animal protection and knowledge of

animal protection issues, in particular captive animal welfare issues,

an advantage. Ability to speak Malay and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

 

 

 

Passion to make a positive difference for animals and the community is a

must.

Community Outreach Officers

 

 

 

ACRES is seeking to recruit full-time Community Outreach Officers to

develop and manage its various volunteer programmes.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities will include recruiting new volunteers, handling

all volunteer queries, managing a volunteer database, organising and

holding regular volunteer meetings, training and orienting volunteers,

organising volunteer appreciation events, maintaining cordial

communications with volunteers and constantly working on improving

volunteer programmes to ensure a fulfilling experience for all

volunteers.

 

 

 

Candidates must be enthusiastic, positive, patient, friendly and able to

motivate people of all ages.

 

 

 

Experience in working with and organising volunteer-related activities

an advantage. Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.

 

 

 

Passion to make a positive difference for animals and the community is a

must.
