Guest guest
A Warm Note of Gratitude The 'Learn to Care' seminar is history now. It has been a great success and today when I look back to measure the overall success and take-away from the seminar, I could distinctly see a couple of things: a) great learning b) team effort Great Learning: The learning bestowed upon us by the speakers was obviously something more than extra-ordinary. I am sure a lot of new comers are highly motivated after attending this seminar. On behalf of every attendant I would like to thank the guests for sharing their experience with us. I convey my special thanks to all the speakers for their valuable modules. The list of name includes Ms. Shakuntala Majumdar, Mr. Punam Singhvi, Mr. Kedar Bhide, Mr. Manoj Oswal and Ms. Pooja Mishra. Team Effort: Success of an event largely depends on the team effort. I am thankful to the entire team who took some precious time out of their busy schedule to organize this event and action it as per the said plan. My heart goes out to every member of PAWS. The core team of the seminar was managed by the following group of people * Nilesh Bhanage - Trustee and the brain behind the seminar * Darshak Shah - Staff * Sonali Bagade - Staff * Manasi Bhanage - Trustee * Avinash Bhagat - Volunteer in-charge of venue arrangements * Preeti Indurkar - Volunteer in-charge of sending mass mailers * Anushree Parmeshwaran - Volunteer in-charge of hosting the event * Sangam Khandare - Volunteer From other group of people who proved to be a great help for organizing the seminar was Abhishek Bhowmick, a copywriter by profession had taken charge of preparing all the communication collaterals for the seminar - event invitations, poster designs, certificate designs, presentations, e-mailers and press releases. Kartik Thevar an engineering student carried out all the design & operational work in the venue on the day of the event. Also special thanks to Ms. Rosalie Malik, Ms. Roxanne Davar, Dr. Yaduraj Khadpekar for adding value to the whole seminar. I applaud all the trustees Anuradha Ramaswami, Neeta Prawatey, Manasi Bhanage, Anjali Ekbote for being an integral part of the seminar. Due to some unavoidable circumstances Mrs. Goodicia Vaidya couldn't attend the seminar, but PAWS would like to acknowledge the fact that she has always been a true mentor in the upbringing of PAWS. Amongst the sponsor, I am grateful to Romula D'Silva for bearing a part of expenditure of the seminar. My sincere acknowledgment goes to all the media representatives from Hindustan Times, DNA, NDTV Good Times Heavy Petting and IBN Lokmat. Lastly, on a concluding note I am thankful to all the attendants for coming down to the seminar. It's time to keep our head strong and stay focused on our way ahead.
