Guest guest
Keri Cairns of IPPL-UK is now in Thailand helping Pharanee Deters, director of Highland Farm, and the sanctuary staff spend $60,000 generously donated by IPPL members for the care of the sanctuary's gibbons and monkeys. Highland Farm is located on the Burma-Thailand border about 30 miles from the town of Mae Sot. Keri is working on constructing new gibbon housing and enriching existing housing, and also at fixing the broken perimeter fence. This is Keri's first trip to Thailand and he is adjusting well to the local culture and food. Reading his blog is a treat. Plus you'll enjoy the wonderful photos of the sanctuary and its animals and maybe you'll consider doing a volunteer stint up there.
