To whom it may concern

 

The Terra Anima Trust for Animals will be opening a shelter for Animals

in Takve, about 13 kms from Karjat.

Terra Anima is a registered Trust recognized by the Animal Welfare

Board of India(TN 65/2000)

However the Trust is in the process of moving to Maharashtra and also

being registered here. This will take a little time.

 

Roxanne Davur, Managing Trustee, is a Master Trainer in Animal

Welfare(Govt of India, Delhi) - she has worked in the Nilgiris for the

past 8 years and has now moved to Karjat.

 

To jump start the Shelter and get it moving sooner than later - we

require

 

A Rescue Vehicle - anything from a Maruti Van Second Hand

Rs 1,50,000

Fencing for 2 acres

Rs 2,00,000

Water Divining, borewell and pump

Rs 1,00,000

Stables, Shelters and labour quarters

Rs 6,00,000

Laptop, large screen & phone and internet connection

for communication & education

Rs 90,000

 

We are also starting to build and any building spares that you have at

your farm or residence will be appreciated

tiles, bricks, sinks,cement, indoor tiles, basins, toilets, stones,

jalli, cables, wires, chainlink fencing, concrete poles, windows with

frames, doors etc

 

 

Roxanne Davur gives Animal Welfare Workshops for schools and

institutions and plans to homestay pets from both Mumbai and Pune for a

regular income.

 

The no kill Shelter will be open 24/7 - we are accepting any injured,

abandoned,destitute and chronically handicapped animal. We encourage

career education in Animal Welfare.

We also have a project submitted for long term advantages for Matheran

for career training with equines and dogs for handicapped.
