He said that the Gaurs had died of some bacterial disease according to the post-mortem report. Two Gaurs were found dead on May 26 and one was discovered dead on May 30, he said, adding that their bodies were found near one common place - Sondar nullah. He said that the close vigil was being kept on the Gaurs in the reserve, adding that the animals living in villages, close to the reserve were being vaccinated against the bacterial diseases. He denied that the three Gaurs had died following an outbreak of some dangerous disease in the reserve.
