MoonBears.org supports Animals Asia Foundation earthquake relief

effort

 

 

 

Dear AAPN.org,

 

I trust all is going well for you and your organization.

 

I am contacting you because we see a terrible tragedy unfolding for animals

in China following last month's devastating earthquake.

 

While the primary aim of MoonBears.org is to end the suffering of South

Korea's caged moon bears, due to the extraordinary nature of the disaster in

China, we have been moved to offer whatever help we can to the animals

affected by the earthquake.

 

Jill Robinson of Animals Asia Foundation and her team at the magical ChengDu

Moon Bear Sanctuary were only 150km from the epicentre of the huge

earthquake that struck the region. Despite the very real risks involved,

Jill and the core members of her team, stayed to care for their charges and

were almost immediately on the ground in the community offering assistance

to both people and animals.

 

MoonBears.org have made a substantial cash donation to the Animals Asia

Foundation earthquake relief fund and we urge you to do likewise.
