Guest guest Posted January 12, 2009 Report Share Posted January 12, 2009 This is part of a letter received by Animal Rescue Kerala from a distressed German tourist who recently visted the resort of Poovar, Kerala. The three dogs were apparently beaten to death by a group of fishermen. Dear Avis, we got now a picture from mr. roland who make the photo on the beach where you have to go by boat only 3 minutes from poovar island resort. (It is in front of the resort only over the backwater). There is in the near a statue with maria and jesus. He told us that he has only a picture from one of the three killed dogs and that happens by the fisherman (a lot of them young and older men). It is very sad that such cruel things are doing by people.
