Why we should help animals in China

A journey of a thousand miles, starts with the first step...

FEEDING THE HOMELESS

Dear compassionate friends,

As widely known, animals in China endure some of the most

horrific suffering imaginable. Be it animals used for fur, including cats and

dogs which are also a part of their culinary, they all meet with unspeakable

deaths. It is, however, with great relief that I would like to bring to you,

the great news that many Chinese citizens are no longer ignoring the suffering

of animals and becoming more involved in helping them. They represent groups

that China ought to be proud of as they just might make history and take their

country off the list of cruelest people on the planet.

A NEW DAWN: The Beautiful New World

New Beautiful World is a group of Chinese citizens who have

come together (and out of their own pocket) to spay or neuter stray cats and

return them to the streets since there are no homes available for them.

Thus, at this time, I'd like to introduce to you the

" Beautiful New World, " a name chosen to represent their hope of creating a

beautiful world for those which until now have experienced everything of the

opposite. This group of animal caring citizens formed a coalition about 4 years

ago to spay or neuter stray cats in Beijing to avoid the proliferation of

millions more unwanted cats. It is estimated that just in Beijing, there are

about 500,000 stray pets which continue multiplying themselves at fearsome

rates.

Please take a moment to extend your hand to these brave

citizens who despite of all odds, are doing a work that will shine in the

history of animal suffering on our planet.

To learn more about this group, we have created a page

specially for them since their blog is in Chinese, but here you can see the

important work they are doing to help those poor souls left to fend for

themselves in a very hostile environment.

These brave citizens must be helped so as to become a strong

force in preventing the proliferation of unwanted pets, and consequently their

terrible suffering in the streets. It is also vital that BNW serve as a model in

their society so that they may inspire others and attract more people to their

groups. The ultimate dream is to end the tragedy that envelops all animals in

China.

Helping our Chinese counterparts in China is vital for the

development of animal consciousness in China. Let's please remember that these

brave citizens are doing all this on their spare time after work, and at their

own expenses. Your donation to help spay or neuter a cat will not cost you very

much but it will mean saving thousands of lives in years ahead. Preventing the

proliferation of unwanted pets is really the only way to curtail and hopefully

end unimaginable pain and agony.

Be a part of a growing number of caring citizens in China, and

help them go in history as the pioneer of compassion!
