Acting on a tip off, the sleuths of local crime branch arrested the youth from village Lohara, some 8 km from here, when he was trying to sell the skin in Rs 25,000, they said. The skin is valued at Rs 2 lakh in the market, they said, adding that the animal was poached some 15-20 days ago and was aged around 2 years.
